JELLYFISH LIVE IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – 1993

Jellyfish – Live at The Coach House, San Juan Capistrano, CA – April 4, 1993

Combining the hooks of The Beatles and Squeeze with the power pop of Queen and Cheap Trick, Jellyfish should have been huge. Co-led by drummer and lead vocalist Andy Sturmer and keyboardist Roger Manning, this excellent Bay Area based group unfortunately never got the attention they deserved during their brief career in the early 1990’s. With Grunge taking the world by storm, Jellyfish’s sunny, melodic pop rock went largely ignored.

The band developed a cult following that has only grown over the years since their disbandment in 1994. Recorded for the Westwood One Radio Network in 1993, this live set features songs from both of the group’s highly recommended studio albums, Bellybutton and Spilt Milk.

Don’t pass up on Jellyfish! They were a truly fine band that should have gained far more acclaim and notoriety.
